THE NEW ME: DARING, BOLD, AUDACIOUS! :]

Kikay. Outgoing. Fun-loving.  These are just some of the adjectives I use to describe myself. But here's one I never ever used before: ADVENTUROUS. I love having fun, YES - no doubt about that but I never really am the type to immerse myself in situations wherein there is possible danger (or at least I already consider it scary and dangerous, I'm kind of a scaredy cat, you see!). I never dared, even as a young kid, doing stuffs that would put my life at risk (or so I thought).  In short, I love having fun - but the fun things I did or I consider is being safe and sound at the end of the day. When I was interviewed by Kagawad Dominador Lagare III for the job position of segment host of the travel and living show titled "Destinations Sites Lahat", I was pretty confident answering all his questions and I know I did well not until he asked me this: "ADVENTUROUS KA BA?" I was tongue-tied for a while, tensed with the question until I finally came up with "

Mommy? No!

BABIES ARE JUST THE CUTEST THING IN THE WORLD! (Well not those days old ones, they kinda creep me out.) Ever since I was a little girl, I am already fond of babies, toddlers and kids. Since then, one of my dreams in life is to become a Mom to cute little babies someday.  Believe it or not, when I was seventeen, I wanted to have my own baby already (not that I was trying to get preggy, hell no!). I am just so in love with the thought of a little wonderful angel that constantly wants my love, affection and attention.  I am in love with a baby's smile, laughter and screams.  I wanted to have my own baby not until a few weeks ago when I had the chance to babysit my 2 year old nephew. ALONE. Not technically alone, since my Mom and Lola were there with me, but they left me to handle Elijah (my nephew) by myself. I guess Momma was trying to teach me a lesson.  It was a Sunday and what was supposedly a date with my Mom and Lola turned out to be a baby sitting gig for me.  When I fetched

Asthma is a respiratory disease that causes coughing, difficulty in breathing and tightening in the chest. I would know. I'm one asthmatic girl. SINCE BIRTH. Not only do I have that, but I also have skin asthma. SINCE BIRTH.  It is hereditary so I'm really mad at my ancestors for passing it to me.  Not only do I frequently have asthma attacks and wake up in the middle of the night because I can't breathe but also, I have allergies that appear whenever I eat some of the world's yummiest food and whenever I get too stressed out.  Yeah, you read it right - whenever I'm stressed out.  THANK YOU ANCESTORS!! I haven't had my skin allergies since high school but they magically appeared again this year due to all the pressures in my college life.   It would have not been a big deal because I can put cream on it, drink ridiculously priced allergy medicines for it and it will go away.  But, it is a big deal because it stained my seemingly precious legs specifically the l

Last-S.Y-Syndrome .. Is There Such Thing?

Are you familiar of the Last School Year Syndrome ? If not, well that's because I made it up.  I coined the term a few months back after realizing that I already am tired of going to school. Days before the first day of school (my last first-day-of-school), I was not even excited nor did I have the butterflies in my tummy the night before - which was pretty odd.  All the eve before my first day of school for a new school year ever since I was in kinder, I always get too excited and feel too anxious which causes me difficulty in sleeping.  I always buy new clothes, new pair of shoes, new bag and what not but this school year for me started differently.  I slept the whole night before it, I did not buy new things, I did not even think about what to wear and as a matter of fact, I dreaded the thought of it!  Now, I concluded that I have this thing after my midterm exams.  I usually am prepared and have studied a week before the examination week but this semester, I studied only a fe
